The Malayalam film industry has been producing some of the most popular and engaging films in recent times. Nowadays, Mollywood films are gaining popularity not just in Kerala but in other states as well. Their artists and directors are also expanding and getting opportunities to work in other film industries. Now, it has been reported that another Malayalam film titled Oru Kattil Oru Muri is all set to release soon in theatres.
Poornima Indrajith, Hakkim Shajahan and Priyamvada Krishnan are playing lead roles in the film. Recently, the director of Oru Kattil Oru Muri shared its latest poster.
Oru Kattil Oru Muri is an upcoming Malayalam film directed by Shanavas K Bavakutty, known for his hit film Kismath. In the poster, it can be seen that there is an empty bed inside a dark room. A lamp has been lit, and a radio has also been kept on the side table, captivating the audience with the film’s theme. One of the highlights of this poster is that it features a real wedding photograph of the talented duo Indrajith Sukumaran and Poornima Indrajith hanging on a bedroom wall. The poster has intrigued the audience, which is quite excited about the release of the film.

In an interview, Shanavas revealed that Poornima Indrajith plays a 45–50-year-old Tamil woman named Akkamma. He went on to say that while he had first thought about a few actors from the past, he realised that he wanted someone fresh who had never taken on a role like this in their career.
The screenplay for the film has been written by Reghunath Paleri. Shanavas also added that even though Paleri had more contemporary projects with him and he had not written anything in this field, he still chose him due to his vision and abilities. He added that the way the plot moves in the film will be one of the highlights. He continued saying that even though the budget was less, he still agreed to write for the film.
