The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film “Marivillin Gopurangal" have officially announced its release date. According to the latest updates, the film is set to hit theatres in April. Here are more details about the film and its release.
The anticipated Malayalam release Marivillin Gopurangal is scheduled to make its theatrical debut on April 12, as per the official announcement by the film’s creators. The official Instagram handle of the film’s production house, Kokers Media Entertainments, shared the news in a recent post. The caption accompanying the post read, “Come, Celebrate this Eid-Vishu Festival Season with us in theatres worldwide from April 12th, 2024."
Marivillin Gopurangal is being directed by Arun Bose, who also co-wrote the film with Pramod Mohan. The cast includes Indrajith Sukumaran, Shruti Ramachandran, Sarjano Khalid, and Vincy Aloshious in notable roles. Supporting them are Sai Kumar, Johny Antony, Salim Kumar, Vashisht Umesh, Vishnu Govind, and Bindu Panicker.
Produced under the banner of Kokers Media Entertainments, the film features music by legendary composer Vidyasagar, with lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar. Cinematography is handled by Syamaprakash M S, while Arun Bose and Shaijal P V serve as editors. The global release rights have been jointly acquired by Rash Raj Films and Play Films, with music rights held by Muzik 247.
The technical crew includes K R Praveen and Noble Jacob as creative producers and project designers, respectively. Jithesh Poyya manages makeup, and costumes are by Gayathri Kishore.
The official teaser of Marivillin Gopurangal was released on the official YouTube channel of Muzik 247 on November 1 last year. It promises to be a thought-provoking family entertainer, challenging societal norms.
