Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is set to make Telugu debut with the movie Saindhav. It is written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu. It stars Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead role. Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be playing the negative role in the film. The movie is slated to release in the theatres worldwide on the eve of Makar Sankranti, on January 13. The makers recently released the trailer of the film. Nawazuddin’s performance is already winning the hearts of the viewers. The cast and crew of Saindhav have started the film’s promotions as well. Recently, during a press meet, Nawazuddin Siddiqui opened up about the shooting of Saindhav. He shared that he almost fell off a boat during the filming of one of the scenes in the movie.
In the recent press meet at Hyderabad, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said: “We were shooting in Sri Lanka and I almost fell off a boat.” A big wave hit the boat due to which the actor lost his balance. Fortunately, he fell inside the boat, and not into the ocean.“Interestingly, that moment was caught on camera and the director used it in the film. I am sure that the audience will definitely like that scene,” said Nawazuddin Siddiqui during the press meet, as quoted by Hindustan Times. Nawazuddin is playing the character of Vikas Malik in the movie. Regarding his role, he said that he never bothers about whether it’s the protagonist or the antagonist he is playing.
“A role that makes me happy, excited, that’s what matters. On the contrary, sometimes it happens that negative roles give you a lot of scope, which you don’t get from good and positive roles. Shailesh has written a similar role for me,” said Nawazuddin. The film is produced by Venkat Boyanapalli under the banner of Niharika Entertainment. The music of the movie is composed by Santhosh Narayan. Garry BH is the editor of the movie, while the cinematography is done by S Manikandan.
