11:05 am: Andhra CM Kiran Kumar Reddy too, condemned the move to blackout the proceedings of the House. "Since the decision was taken to bifurcate the state, there was no order in what was done. This is shameful. If this is for the people, then people are losing in this deal," Kiran Kumar Reddy said.

10:50 am: "We condemn the Lok Sabha blackout. It was a planned blackout, and not a technical problem. There should not be any blackout on the Rajya Sabha proceedings," BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said.
10:45 am: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will voice out its opposition against the blackout of the Lok Sabha TV proceedings during the voice vote on the Telangana Bill in Parliament on Tuesday. While Sushma Swaraj will raise the issue in Lok Sabha, Arun Jaitley will raise the issue in Rajya Sabha.
A day after the Telangana Bill was passed in the Lok Sabha amidst a blackout, it is not clear as to whether it will be brought in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. Government sources say they will bring the Bill in the Upper House if the President returns it on time.
The contentious Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill, 2013 (Telangana Bill) was on Tuesday bulldozed through the Lok Sabha amidst dramatic scenes with Congress and BJP joining hands to ensure its passage. However, in an unprecedented move, fearing protest from Seemandhra MPs, the government blacked out the proceedings of the Lok Sabha TV. The move was seen by many MPs as "murder of democracy". The Lok Sabha TV, however, issued a statement saying that the blackout was a result of technical glitch.
Staunch opponent of Telangana, YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called it a black day in the history of the country and appealed for bandh in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday. "It's a black day for Indian democracy," said Reddy after Lok Sabha cleared the Bill by a voice vote.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, who has been opposing his party and this Bill, is set to resign on Wednesday.
