New Delhi: The Prime Minister will convene a meeting of key infrastructure ministries on Tuesday to discuss pending reforms. Though, CNN-IBN is told that it's a routine meeting but it gains significance as it comes on the heels of the industrial output figures.
Sources have said that right after the cabinet meeting, UPA allies will be meeting the Prime Minister at his residence for dinner and perhaps plan out a strategy for Wednesday's all-party meet on the Lokpal draft.
Also, this comes after the heated Lokpal debate at Anna Hazare's one-day token fast, where apart from the Congress, even allies chose to stay away.
NCP's Sharad Pawar and National Conference's Farooq Abdullah have said that the bill should be discussed in Parliament.
At Wednesday's all-party meet, contentious issues like inclusion of Prime Minister, CBI and Group C bureaucrats will be discussed.
