New Delhi: A little more than 100 days after assuming office, Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar has claimed that there are no files pending in the ministry and assured that he is speeding up the decision making process.
"We have deleted the word delay from our systems. Otherwise, the environment ministry has been known for roadblocking, license/permit quota raj, we have dispensed with all of these. Now there is not a single pending file on my table," he said.
Javadekar also said that the Environment Ministry will give justice to the flat owners in Noida without harming the Okhla wetland.
"Our notification will give you the final idea of how we are going to protect the environment while ensuring the problem doesn't remain. We will give justice to all those whose flats are ready and at the same time care for the nature and protect the marshy land," he said adding that the decisions have already been made and the technical process is on.
