'No Compromise on Ram & Rashtra': Acharya Pramod Krishnam After Congress Expels Him For 'Anti-Party' Remarks
Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam was expelled for his repeated statements against the party

Hours after the Congress party expelled Acharya Pramod Krishnam for six years for ‘anti-party remarks’, the ex-Priyanka Gandhi team member replied saying, “No compromise on Ram and Rashtra.”

Taking to X, the ex-Congress leader also tagged Rahul Gandhi in his post. Notably, Acharya Pramod has earlier as well slammed the Rahul Gandhi-led led Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra and called it a “political tourism”. The Acharya said that Congress is “travelling”, while other parties are gearing up for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.

“In view of the complaints of indiscipline and repeated statements against the party, the Congress President has approved the proposal of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee to expel Pramod Krishnam from the party for six years with immediate effect,” the party said in an official statement.

Notably, the party’s decision came days after Acharya Pramod Krishnam met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him to lay the foundation stone of Shri Kalki Dham in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal on February 19.

I had the privilege of inviting the illustrious Prime Minister of India, Respected Shri Narendra Modiji, to the foundation stone laying ceremony of Shri Kalki Dham organised on 19th February. Heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the Honorable Prime Minister for accepting this,” he wrote on X.

The ex-Congress leader also participated in the Ram temple ‘Pran Pratishthan’ ceremony held in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya on January 22 and hailed the inauguration of the Ram Mandir crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
