Nilekani's return to social media assumes a lot of significance, following reports of him contesting the next Lok Sabha polls from Bangalore South on Congress ticket. Bangalore South is home to a lot of IT professionals and it also has a cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Nandan Nilekani was born and brought up in Bangalore. He co-founded Infosys, chaired by NR Narayanamurthy and five others as founding members in 1981.
