New Delhi: Former Indian Premier League chief Lalit Modi attacked Congress leaders and called them 'real looters'.

In a series of tweets, Modi has hit out at the Gandhis, Congress PResident Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra, senior party leaders like Rajeev Shukla, Kamal Nath and P Chidambaram's son Karti.

He also talked about making a phone call to Shukla last night and tweeting an image showing a 53-second conversation between them.

He has also alleged that it was former union minister P Chidambaram who deliberately withdrew his security cover despite threats to his life.

He has also threatened Congress leaders with legal action.

He also rubbished the Congress's allegation linking him to Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying the Prime Minister was not involved in Indian Premier League back in 2011 when was the Gujarat chief minister. In his earlier tweets, Lalit Modi praised the Prime Minister by calling him the most savvy man. "Our PM is most savvy man. He does not need my advice. When he bats he will hit the ball out of the park. #respect only," Lalit Modi had tweeted.
