Tejashwi Yadav also expressed disappointment that his cricketing career has been totally forgotten despite him being a star player during his active days in the domestic spectrum.

Former Bihar deputy Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav made a staggering revelation on his cricket journey where he claimed that he had once captained Indian cricketer Virat Kohli in domestic matches.

The son of former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav claimed that Kohli had played under his captaincy in domestic cricket and many of the players in Team India were his batchmates.

“I was a cricketer and no one talks about it. Virat Kohli played under my captaincy. Did anyone ever talk about it? Why don’t they do so? As a professional, I played good cricket. Many Team India players are my batchmates,” the RJD leader said in an interview to ZEE media.

He also expressed disappointment that his cricketing career has been totally forgotten despite him being a star player during his active days in the domestic spectrum.

“I had to quit as my both ligaments were fractured. Let it be,” he said.

His remarks garnered attention on social media drawing varied reactions from cricket fans.

“Well he is not wrong. He is talking about his dream11 cricket,” one user on X said.
