81. Kanker is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Chhattisgarh and is part of Kanker (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Kanker falls in Uttar Bastar district and South region of Chhattisgarh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,69,877 voters in the seat, which includes 82,264 male voters, and 87,612 female voters. In the 2018 Chhattisgarh elections, Kanker recorded a voter turnout of 78.72%. In 2013 the turnout was 79.07%, and in 2008 it was 70.66%.
