Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Shatrughan Sinha has hit out at his own party once again, this time over the arrest of Jawaharlal Nehru University Students Union (JNUSU) president Kanhaiya Kumar, who hails from Begusarai district in Bihar.
In a series of tweets, the actor-turned-politician asserted that the JNUSU president had said nothing anti national or against constitution".

Sinha termed the ongoing issue at JNU as a crisis "for reasons best known to politicians."
