I appeal Paswan not to join hands with 'communal' people: Lalu
Lalu's statement came after senior LJP leader Surajbhan Singh said the party was entering into an alliance with the BJP.

New Delhi: A day after Ram Vilas Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) indicated it was moving closer to the Bharatiya Janata Party ahead of the general elections, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav appealed the LJP chief not to join hands with 'communal' people.

"There had been the talks with Paswan, his party leader told that there has been an alliance with the BJP. I am still trying to get in touch with him and the question is not about seats. It is about secularism. I appeal Paswan not to join hands with communal people," Lalu said.

His statement came after senior LJP leader Surajbhan Singh said the party was entering into an alliance with the BJP.

The RJD chief, however, kept quiet over the resignation of 13 party MLAs who are expected to join Nitish Kumar's JDU.
