Congress names manifesto committees for Andhra, Karnataka, Goa
AK Antony has been made Chairman of manifesto implementation committee for Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

New Delhi: Union minister AK Antony has been made Chairman of manifesto implementation committee for Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka set up on Wednesday.

In the eight-member manifesto committee for both the states, Union minister V Narayanasamy is one of the members along with AICC general secretary in-charge, AICC secretary in-charge, PCC chief and CLP leaders of the states concerned.

State leaders including party veteran Janardhana Poojari and H K Patil are among the members in the committee for Karnataka while state minister Gita Reddy and MP Arun Kumar have been included in the committee for Andhra Pradesh.

The party also announced setting up of a six-member coordination committee for Goa, an AICC release issued by party general secretary Janardan Dwivedi said. Digvijay Singh is the AICC general secretary in-charge for all the three states - Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Goa.

Pravin Kunkoleikar and Alexo R Lourenco are other members in the Goa coordination committee along with AICC general secretary and secretary in-charge for the state, its PCC chief and CLP leader.
