Congress announces final list for MP polls
Three ex-ministers, five women and a kin of Union Minister are in the final list.

New Delhi: Three former ministers, five women and a kin of Union Minister Kantilal Bhuria are among the final list of 22 candidates announced by the Congress in new Delhi on Wednesday night for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly polls.

The former ministers Aidal Singh Kansana, Rajmani Patel, and Bhatuk Shankar Joshi will contest the elections from Sumawali, Semariya and Ujjain Uttar constituencies respectively.

Kalavati Bhuria, niece of Union Minister of Trade for Agriculture Kantilal Bhuria, will enter into fray from Thandla (ST) constituency.

The party has also fielded four other women -- Yahoda Singh (Jaitpur-ST), Savitri Singh Dhurve (Bandhavgarh-ST), Gyanwanti Singh (Manpur-ST) and Kalpana Parulekar (Mahidpur)-- in the elections.

The Congress has already come out with two lists of candidates in the last two days.

Madhya Pradesh has a total number of 230 constituencies.
