Vishnu Deo Sai Sworn In As Chhattisgarh CM

After much speculation by the Bharatiya Janata Party, Vishnu Deo Sai was picked as the chief ministerial candidate for Chattisgarh. Sai took oath as the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh on December 13, along with his deputies, Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP chief JP Nadda.

The development came after the saffron camp registered a massive victory in the state by bagging 54 of the 90 Assembly seats. Meanwhile, the Congress party was restricted to just 35 seats.
