47. Amber is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Jaipur Rural Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Amber falls in Jaipur district and Central region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,45,776 voters in the seat, which includes 1,28,891 male voters, and 1,16,885 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Amber recorded a voter turnout of 80.34%. In 2013 the turnout was 79.01%, and in 2008 it was 68.5%.
In 2013, Navin Pilania of NPEP won the seat by a margin of 329 votes (0.2%). Navin Pilania secured 31.22% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 3,797 votes (3.01%), registering 42.16% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP led in the Amber Assembly segment of the Jaipur Rural Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
