A respite for cricket fans as it seems like they still have a chance to book their tickets for the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup 2023 which will be played in India from October to November. The tickets were sold out in a flash when the ICC first opened the booking for the fans on the official ticket booking partner BookMyShow. The cricket governing body and BCCI faced a lot of scrutiny for mismanagement regarding ticket bookings as they had to wait for hours to book their tickets from the website. However, earlier this month, the BCCI decided to release 400,000 more in their next phase of sales.
Meanwhile, the fans can still book the tickets for India vs Netherlands warm-up clash which will be played on October 3 in Trivandrum.
The latest development on BookMyShow suggested that more tickets will be released for the India World Cup matches in the coming days. However, the BCCI has not released any official statement regarding that.
Meanwhile, according to the original itinerary, the tickets were supposed to close on September 15 with the final phase.
25 August – Non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches
30 August – India matches at Guwahati and Trivandrum
31 August – India matches at Chennai, Delhi and Pune

2 September – India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata
