The State Bank of India has released the tentative exam schedule of the SBI Clerk recruitment test. The recruitment exam to fill 8283 Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) positions in the clerical cadre will tentatively be conducted on January 5, 6, 11, and 12. Candidates who applied for the exam can check the notice on the official website at sbi.co.in.

The SBI clerk recruitment 2023 selection procedure includes an online examination (preliminary and main exam) as well as a test in the designated local language. The online objective tests for a total of 100 marks will make up the preliminary exam. This one-hour test would consist of three sections: English language, numerical ability, and reasoning ability.

As per the official notice, there will be negative marks for wrong answers in the objective tests. One-fourth of the marks assigned for each question will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage mark on aggregate. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, ESM, and DESM categories, SBI will provide a 5 per cent relaxation in the minimum qualifying percentage. Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be as decided by the bank. No minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects are prescribed. Section-wise marks will not be maintained.

Candidates who have cleared graduation are eligible to apply for the exam. The minimum age limit for candidates applying is 20 years of age and the maximum age limit and 28 years of age. Those who make it to the list will receive a beginning base salary of Rs 17,900, and Rs 19,900 with two advance increments.
