As per reports, under this scheme, women living in kutcha houses will be provided permanent houses.
Ladli Behna Awas Yojana 2023 Eligibility
Reportedly, those women beneficiaries can apply under this scheme, who have never taken benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
People who still do not have their own permanent house and are living in kutcha houses, will get the benefit of this.
The benefit of Ladli Behana Awas Yojana will be available only to those beneficiaries who are registered under the government’s flagship Ladli Behan Yojana.
Ladli Behna Awas Yojana 2023 Launch Date
The scheme has been approved by the MP Cabinet, however, the date of the launch has not been announced yet, nor has any date for application come.
It is also not clear whether the government will provide financial assistance to build a house under this scheme or a ready-made house will be given to women.
The scheme will be launched this month and the application will have to be made in the Gram Panchayat.
Ladli Behna Yojana was launched in March, aims to empower women socially and financially. Under the scheme, women in the 23-60 age group get Rs 1,000 per month if they are not income tax payees and the annual income of their families is less than Rs 2.5 lakh annually. The state government plans to gradually hike the amount to Rs 3,000 per month.
Recently, Chouhan claimed his government’s ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’ was the “biggest scheme in the history of India” and asserted that the Rs 15,000 crore it entails annually is nothing when it comes to the respect of women.
