Isha Foundation on Wednesday clarified that its founder Sadhguru or Jagadish Vasudev is not involved in any financial or investment scheme and does not promote any such thing.
The foundation’s remarks came after some purported videos went viral in which Sadhguru’s face was used to peddle misinformation.
Isha Foundation, in a post on X, said it has come to their notice that financial scams in the name of Suraj Sharma, Laila Rao and Amir are circulating on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Telegram and that these are Sadhguru’s videos and images and also cloning his voice.

It has filed cyber complaints against these scams with the police and hopes that law enforcement agencies will bring the perpetrators to justice.
“We hereby bring it to the notice of the public that Sadhguru is not involved in any financial or investments scheme and does not promote any such thing. We hereby advise all concerned not to get involved in any such financial scams by clicking on it and divulging your personal and financial information and investing your money under the impression that Sadhguru is promoting it,” the foundation said.
Sadhguru’s foundation has also reported this to the respective social media platforms stating that Vasudev is not involved in a “fake and fraudulent” scam.
