A star-studded commentary line-up has been named for the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 during which India will take on Australia in Ahmedabad.
Some of the biggest names from the world of cricket commentary from across the globe will be calling the game during what is expected to be a thrilling clash between the two cricket giants at Narendra Modi Stadium – the world’s largest cricket stadium on Sunday.
From India legend Ravi Shastri to England’s Nasser Hussain, the elite line-up features will be bringing world-class coverage for the final contest of the ODI showpiece.

India entered the final of the world cup on the back of 10 straight wins. They defeated last-time runners-up New Zealand in the last-four stage earlier this week in Mumbai to qualify, hoping for a third world cup title.
On the other hand, Australia are on an eight-match winning streak and will hope to lay their hands on the trophy they have won a record five times already.
Meanwhile, the ICC has announced the match officials for the finale with the England duo of Richard Illingworth and Richard Kettleborough to perform the on-field duties.
Kettleborough is familiar with this stage of the competition having officiated in the final of the 2015 world cup when Australia faced New Zealand at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in front of 93,000 fans.
Both Illingworth and Kettleborough have been the recipients of the David Shepherd Trophy which is awarded to the ICC’s Umpire of the Year.
Over one lakh fans are expected to gather at the venue to witness the final. The organisers have also planned of events for the entertainment of the fans including an air show, musical concert and more.
