A 27-year-old man was shot dead by some unidentified assailants on Wednesday in east Delhi. Police said the victim, identified as Saurabh Kumar, was driving his car at Ghazipur Dairy Farm with three coworkers.
Kumar, who used to work at a waste management company, was found in a pool of blood inside his car in Ghazipur. Police have filed a murder case into the matter and a probe is underway.

“Saurabh was driving the car. When they reached near Ghazipur Dairy Farm, two men on a motorcycle waylaid them and pumped a bullet into Saurabh’s head leaving him dead on the spot,” the officer said. Saurabh’s office colleagues tried to catch the attackers but they fled away, police said.
PROBE BEGINS
Hindustan Times reported that the victim’s coworkers, who were present at the time of the incident inside the car, are being questioned.
Cops have also probed if the victim was hit by a stray bullet that took his life. Police have suspected personal enmity is the reason behind the murder.
News agency ANI quoted DCP East Delhi, Amrutha Guguloth, as saying, “We got a call in the morning that a man was shot. Our team reached there immediately. The man who was shot was found in a vehicle. He and his three office staff were coming back from the night shift. Someone shot him on his way. We called the crime team immediately and examined the scene of the crime. Further investigation is going on.”

Along with the police, forensic experts also reached the crime spot to collect the evidence.
Police sources said Saurabh got married a few months ago, and lived in a rented accommodation with his wife in east Delhi’s Mayur Vihar.
He had pursued a polytechnic course from a college in Meerut and was working at the plant for a few years.
