When Saif Ali Khan Revealed Rani Mukerji's Advice To Him About Dating Kareena Kapoor: 'Behave Like You...'

Bollywood’s ‘it’ couple, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, have been setting relationship goals for everyone. Not long ago, Saif appeared on Kareena’s talk show ‘What Women Want’ and shared an interesting anecdote – a piece of advice – he received from his co-star Rani Mukerji when he began dating Kareena. Saif mentioned that he had never been in a relationship with a working actress before, so Rani offered him words of advice.

Revealing the words of wisdom, Saif Ali Khan said, “I remember what Rani told me once when we had just started dating, you and I. Because I’ve never, I don’t think I had ever been out with a working actress before, in that sense. So she said, ‘Just behave like you are in a relationship with a man’”.

Explaining what Rani really meant by it, Saif said what she suggested was to treat Kareena as an equal. Said Saif, “She meant that don’t get into the gender of it. Treat it like equal, like you’ve got two heroes in the house. Two people working and then you will have no problems. And I think she is absolutely right.”

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s relationship blossomed back in 2007. The couple got married in 2012 and are parents to six-year-old son Taimur Ali Khan and two-year-old Jeh.

Saif and Rani are great friends, too. When the duo appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati, Rani had said, “I always enjoy working with Saif because he’s a very good actor and I consider him to be one of the finest actors in India. His comic timing is really nice. So, that’s why I really like working with Saif as an actor because I get the chance to give my best because there’s such a great actor in front of me and I don’t want to feel that if I’m not on my toes then I’ll miss it.”
