Raveena Tandon's Birthday Wish For Her First Co-Star Salman Khan Is Friendship Goals

Salman Khan has ringed in his 58th birthday with a bash with his closest friends in the industry. While many of his fans are wishing him across social media, some of his colleagues have taken a trip down memory lane to wish the star. Raveena Tandon who starred opposite Salman Khan in her first film shared a special birthday note for him. Raveena and Salman were seen in the film Patthar Ke Phool in 1991. Later, they appeared in several cult films such as Andaz Apna Apna, Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye and more.

On the occasion of his birthday, Raveena Tandon shared a carousel of pictures and wrote, “To my first Screen Hero Salman Khan… a very happy birthday, this year and many years to come, may your superstardom always increase … loadsa love always!” Raveena shared one of the recent pictures with Salman at Arbaaz Khan’s wedding. It features Arbaaz Khan with Shura Khan along with Salman and Raveena’s daughter Rasha. Other stills in the post feature an old poster from Patthar Ke Phool and a few selfies of Raveena along with Salman.

Earlier this year, in an interview with ETimes, Raveena Tandon shared that while she and Salman share an amazing bond, it was not the case when they first met on sets. She mentioned that both of them had their share of “Classroom fights” when they grew older and started respecting each other.

She added, “Well, Salman and I have bonded today as we have grown older as such thick friends and there’s mutual respect and love for each other. He’s the kind you call when you’re in trouble and he’ll be there for you. He might not be there with you during your happy times but he’ll definitely be there for you in your bad times so he is that kind of a person.” Recently, Raveena Tandon appeared as a guest on Salman Khan show Bigg Boss 17.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan celebrated his birthday with family and friends in Mumbai. His guest list included prominent names like Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza, Bobby Deol, Neha Dhupia, and others. The star had a good year in terms of his professional life as well. The actor was most recently seen in Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. Earlier this year, the actor had a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. This year, he also appeared in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
