Netflix India on Tuesday, September 27 unveiled a new promo of the documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale. In the short clip, the Jawan actress can be heard saying that she was never a ‘filmy kid.’ The ‘Lady Superstar’ then continues, “I am just a normal girl who wants to give her 100 per cent in everything she does.’
Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale will document moments from the actress’ wedding with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. The couple tied the knot in June this year in an intimate ceremony that was attended by celebrities such as Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Atlee, Ajith Kumar and Vijay Sethupathi among others.

A new teaser of the documentary was dropped during Netflix’s Tudum festival last week. The minute-long clip offered glimpses of the couple’s wedding and a small snippet of the actress and the director talking about each other. The video featured a number of special moments from the wedding, including the first time she sees the wedding dress, the moments leading up to the wedding and more.
Another teaser was released last month in which the couple was gushing about each other. Netflix is yet to announce the release date of the documentary.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Nayanthara was recently seen in the film O2. Next, she has several films in the pipeline. The actress will be seen in the Malayalam film Gold, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. Nayanthara also has Godfather in her kitty where she will co-star with Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan, Puri Jagannadh, and Satyadev Kancharana. She will then be seen in the Tamil films Connect and Iraivan.
Besides these, Nayanthara is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the film Jawan. Directed by Atlee, the film will see SRK and Nayanthara collaborate for the first time.
