Kusha Kapila Opens Up On Her Divorce, Dating Rumours With Arjun Kapoor; Says 'The Scars Will Heal '

Social media influencer Kusha Kapila, set to star in Thank You For Coming alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Shehnaaz Kaur Gill, opened up on her divorce from Delhi-based Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia, handling online trolls, and addressing rumours about dating Arjun Kapoor during the sidelines of the film’s trailer launch. In Shilpa Shetty’s upcoming film Sukhee, Kusha Kapila plays a significant role. Speaking with Zoom TV, Kusha shared that she benefits from a strong support system that aids her in coping with online negativity and trolls. She told the publication, “I think I have a strong support system. My friends, family, colleagues – everyone makes a circle around me which protects me. I am so lucky and privileged to have those people in my life.”

Kusha said that she knows how dealing with public scrutiny is an inherent aspect of being a public figure. If one benefits from their public persona, it’s inevitable that people will have something to say; it’s human nature to express opinions. She added, “If you are profiting off being a public person toh kuch toh log kahenge, logo ka kaam hai kehna (people will keep on saying something or the other) which is going to happen. My life now is just in the service of making my skin thicker and thicker everyday and that’s just what I work towards. Every day I have to be immune and I have to be thick-skinned. The scars will begin to heal soon enough.”

In June, Kush Kapila announced her divorce from her husband, Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia, via an Instagram post. The digital content creators released a joint statement in which they wrote about their intention to co-parent their beloved dog, Maya. A part of her Instagram read, “The love and life we have shared together continue to mean everything to us, but sadly, what we seek currently for ourselves doesn’t align. We gave it our all, until we couldn’t anymore.”
