South Korean boy band BTS has given their fans aka The BTS Army another reason to rejoice. While their immense popularity among the masses is not a secret, their behind-the-camera moments intrigue us more. Now, the boys have decided to offer us a sneak peek into their never-before-seen personal and professional life experiences through an eight-part docuseries titled BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star. Featuring all the BTS members — Jungkook, Suga, V, J-hope, RM, Jin, and Jimin, the first two episodes of the upcoming docuseries will premiere on December 20 on Disney Plus. To spark further intrigue among fans, the makers have released the BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star teaser trailer today, November 24.

The 30-second-long teaser trailer was shared on YouTube by Bangtan TV. It shows all the BTS members in different frames, busy with their respective activities. While one member seems lost travelling on a yacht, another can be seen clicking pictures of the sky. At the same time, when one of them runs on a treadmill, another undergoes a singing practice session. By capturing the various moods of the boys, the teaser trailer perhaps seems to indicate some individual traits or personal hobbies that each BTS member possesses besides working as a team. The soothing music in the background and the scenic visuals match the feel and vibe of the teaser trailer.

According to a press release by Disney Plus, BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star will include “never-before-seen interviews, performances, and behind-the-scenes moments" of the BTS members. Through the documentary the audience will dive deep into the band’s 10-year-long professional journey, understanding the highs and lows of their career. BTS’ management company, HYBE’s Chairman Bang Si-Hyuk, and the author of Beyond The Story: 10-Year Record Of BTS — Kang Myeongseok will also make an appearance in the docuseries.

Some of BTS’ key moments like how the band was formed, what the members felt when preparing for their debut performance, the joy after bagging an award at the 2013 Melon Music Awards, their maiden appearance at the American Music Awards, and the Billboard Music Awards, their nervousness while speaking at the UN — Beyond The Star will show all these special moments which has so far been kept under wraps. It will also give a glimpse of some personal moments of the group including how they felt when they first met each other, and their period of separation during COVID among others.
