Aamir Khan's Ex-wives Kiran Rao And Reena Dutt Take Part In Ira Khan's Haldi Ceremony; Watch

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare got engaged in September last year in Italy. Two months later, they hosted an intimate engagement party that was attended by family and close friends, including Imran Khan, Aamir’s ex-wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao and actor Fatima Sana Shaikh. Ira and Nupur are all set to tie the knot on tomorrow, January 3 and the pre-wedding festivities were recently kicked off.

In new photos, uploaded by by paparazzos, one can see Aamir Khan’s ex-wives – Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao – at the wedding venue overseeing the preparations. While Reena opted for a green sari, draped in a Maharashtrian style, Kiran, too, wore a sari. She opted for a lavender sari, draped in a traditional Maharashtrian style.

In another clip, Aamir Khan can be seen busy with daddy duties. On Sunday, the actor was seen at ex-wife Reena Dutta’s house to kick off the wedding preparations. Aamir, known to mostly keep it casual, sported a white and blue striped kurta and blue wide-legged comfy pants. For footwear, he chose trusty sandals. He waved at the paps as they caught a glimpse of him. Check out the video here:

About the big day, a source told News18, “The Khan family is elated as they’re going to start the new year with a bang. Ira and Nupur will get married on January 3 at Bandra’s plush Taj Lands End hotel. Following that, there will be two reception parties that will take place – one in Delhi and the other in Jaipur – between January 6 and 10.”

We have also learnt that Aamir is particularly excited to get his daughter married and has personally been making calls to his friends and peers in B-town to grace the wedding and bless the couple. “Most actors aren’t in town due to the holiday season. But be assured that it’s going to be a star-studded affair. Those who won’t be able to make it to their big day will be a part of the reception in Jaipur,” added the source.
