Diljit Dosanjh is making headlines after his movie Amar Singh Chamkila was released on the OTT platform Netflix on April 12. Apart from his heart-touching acting in the film, he has marked his name in the frontline artist names after his concert with Ed Sheeran in Mumbai last month.
Fans of Diljit Dosanjh praised his performance in their desi ways with posters saying, ‘Hoega Bieber, hoega Travis, sadda ta ae hi hai,’ read some of the posters made by his fans.
On April 13, Diljit hit the stage again in Mumbai and his fans could not keep calm. During his concert, Diljit expressed his deepest gratitude toward the director of Amar Singh Chamkila, Imtiaz Ali. He praised and thanked Imtiaz for allowing him to work in the movie. In great enthusiasm, he said, “ Mei actor toh hu nhi, par jo film achii lagti hai, wo karleta hoon.”

He went on to praise all of his fans as soon as he saw the poster, ‘Hoega Bieber, hoega Travis, sadda ta ae hi hai’. He said how Indians do not support the artists from their homeland. They always prefer to praise the foreign artist for their artistic exploration. He requested his fans to show more support to Indian artists.
Last month, during a concert with British Singer Ed Sheeran, Diljit Dosanjh sang a rendition of his well-known song Lover in Punjabi. Ed Sheeran sang the song in Punjabi while the whole concert lit up with cheers from the fans. Both Diljit Dosanjh and Ed Sheeran shared the photos from the concert on Instagram.

British singer Ed Sheeran wowed the stage in Mumbai with Diljit Dosanjh over the weekend as the pair sang a rendition of the Indian artist’s hit track “Lover” in Punjabi, a duet that promptly lit up India’s social media.
Both artists posted videos of their performances on Instagram, with huge cheers from the crowd as Sheeran invited his singing partner onto the stage.
