Watch: Allu Arjun Emotional At Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam Pre-release Event

Allu Arjun, along with his close associate and creative mastermind Sukumar, served as the chief guest at the pre-release event for the film Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam, set to be released on August 23. At the event, the unwavering fandom of Allu Arjun was out for full display as soon as he held the mike, preparing for a speech. The crowd whistled and cheered and the Pushpa star addressed them in the most heartwarming way possible.

He called his fans his “army” and said, “I love you” to them multiple times, harping on how much his fans meant to him. He said that other stars generate fans but he became a star after seeing the love showered on him by his fans. All throughout the speech, the crowd cheered him on and whistled.

At the event, Allu Arjun warmly wished the team great success and shared his thoughts on why this film should make a significant impact at the box office. He said, “Tollywood needs small films that can achieve big success. We’ve seen that with Aay and other films earlier this month. I hope this winning streak continues with Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam. Films like these must resonate with the audience, as that’s what’s needed right now.” Allu Arjun also praised Rao Ramesh, calling him a remarkably talented actor who can elevate any scene and bring out the best in those around him. He congratulated the Telugu cast members Ankith Koyya, Indraja, and Ramya Pasupuleti.

At the event, all rumours of Allu Arjun and Sukumar not being on the best of terms were also quashed as the actor and director sat side by side and chatted enthusiastically with each other. Earlier, some news portals carried news of not all being okay between the two, which was the reason for Pushpa 2: The Rule getting delayed for release. For now, the release date of the movie has been postponed to December 6.
