Vedang Raina Says Suhana Khan Took The Most Time To Get Ready On Sets: ‘You'd Be Waiting For 40 Mins'
Vedang Raina recently shared what he liked and tolerated about Suhana Khan during The Archies’ shoot.

Vedang Raina made his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s teen musical film The Archies. Others to join him were Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Aditi Saigal, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja and Yuvraj Menda. The 24-year-old actor, who is now gearing up for the release of his second film, Jigra, talked about his The Archies co-stars, sharing what’s the one thing he likes and tolerates in them. In an interview with Galatta India, while he was talking about his industry friends, Vedang shared that one thing he likes about Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana is that she is very warm to people around her.

Revealing the one thing he tolerated about her, he said, “One thing I tolerate about her is that on set she used to take the most time to get ready. So, the guys would take 15 mins, you’d be done, and you’d be waiting for 40 mins only for Suhana.”

Vedand continued, “So many times like we’d be doing takes and if you’re in a scene with Suhana, all the best to you cuz somebody will say oh stop, stop, stop the hair is like coming this way and I think the hair team also went through a lot to get her hair right. It’s not her fault obviously, it was just the requirement of the film.”

In the same segment of the interview, Vedang was asked about the one thing he likes and tolerates about his rumoured girlfriend, Khushi Kapoor. He said, “She’s very sweet and generous to people around her,” but he also mentioned that he tolerates the fact that the actress sometimes goes on a “self-doubt” trip.

On the work front, Vedang is gearing up for the release of his second film, Jigra, in which he will star alongside Alia Bhatt. The young actor is set to captivate the audience not only with his acting but also with his singing skills. Vedang has lent his voice to the title track of the Vasan Bala-directed action thriller, and he has also sung a reprised version of Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka. Jigra will hit the theatres on October 11.

Meanwhile, after The Archies, Suhana Khan will return to the silver screen with her father, Shah Rukh Khan. Director Sujoy Ghosh has roped in the father-daughter duo for his film King. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, King is said to begin production by early next year and might be released by mid-2026.
