Are you dying in anticipation ever since you saw the trailer of 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'? Yeah, you're not alone. This Marvel superhero movie has been on everyone's list of dream sequels for some time now and as the day of release (April 24th) inches closer, you are likely to find yourself holding your breath. The movie, apart from having a massive budget of around $250,000,000, has an ensemble star cast that would put regular Hollywood flicks to shame. From Robert Downey Jr to Scarlett Johansson; Samuel L Jackson to James Spader; Jeremy Renner to Idris Elba, this is one epic that you cannot afford to miss. So while you wait to be basked in the glory of these amazing actors on the big screen, have a look at a few other movies with these guys in them, and understand that they are so much more than Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk or Ultron. Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man) The witty, charming and good natured a-hole that is Robert Downey Jr is a lad's idol and a woman's dream. While he has been a famous actor for a very long time now, it was his role as Iron Man in the Marvel movie franchise that turned him into a cult figure. But when he isn't Tony-Stark-ing around, he has some amazing movies to his credit. The most famous among that is probably Guy Ritchie's 'Sherlock Holmes', where he plays well, Sherlock Holmes. And while Cumberbatch-mates won't agree, he was pretty awesome. Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) This blonde bombshell has just way too many good movies up her sleeve. From Christopher Nolan's 'Prestige' to Woody Allen's 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona'; she looks amazing and acts even better. In 'Prestige', Johansson plays the role of a magician's stage assistant and mistress. Chris Hemsworth (Thor) This Australian hunk, when he isn't bashing people up with his hammer, does roles like James Hunt in 'Rush'. It is a biographical sports drama film centered on the rivalry between race car drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda during the 1976 Formula One motor-racing season. Chris Evans (Captain America) The somber and serious and ultra patriotic Captain America also plays the role of another Marvel superhero: Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch. And the Human Torch is the exact opposite of the dead serious Captain America. He is flamboyant, cocky, and somewhat of a narcissist. James Spader (Ultron) James Spader is a legendary actor who is quite possibly best known for his role of ace lawyer Alan Shore, in the award winning television show, 'Boston Legal'. Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) This guy is amazing. Remember that episode from 'House MD' where he plays the dying rockstar? He was also pretty epic as the bad guy in 'SWAT'. But Renner's best role was most definitely in the multiple award winning movie, 'The Hurt Locker' where he plays the role of a war veteran who heads a bomb squad for the US Army in Iraq. Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk) Yes yes, he is the best Hulk ever. But aside from that he is also a pretty amazing actor in so many other movies. Take, for example, 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind', where he plays the role of a technician who erases memories, or in 'Zodiac' where he is a police officer. Samuel L Jackson (Nick Fury) This does not even need any introduction. If you have not seen Samuel L Jackson in any movie apart from the Avengers, I think you should stop watching movies altogether. From 'Pulp Fiction' to 'Django Unchained'; from 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' to 'Snakes on a Plane', every Samuel L Jackson movie is worth a watch for the very basic reason that it stars Samuel L Jackson in his trademark loud and sassy African-American mannerisms. Idris Elba (Heimdall) If you want to understand just how awesome Idris Elba is, all you have to do is watch the HBO TV series 'The Wire'. When people tell you that 'The Wire' is the best TV show on earth, it is mostly because it's the truth. And one of the most Iconic characters in 'The Wire' is Idris Elba's character, Stringer Bell, a Baltimore based drug lord.
