On its opening day, grossed approximately Rs 4.65 crore [Rs 4.15 crore in Tamil and Rs 50 lakh in Telugu]. The film’s second-day earnings across all languages added up to to Rs 6.25 crore nett. Overall, the movie has garnered Rs 10.90 crore in total earnings so far.

Director Sundar C’s latest film Aranmanai 4 released at the cinema halls on May 3. The narrative of the film begins with a lawyer Saravanan (Sundar C) getting the news of his sister Selvi (Tamannaah Bhatia)’s death. Selvi died by suicide after the death of her husband. Saravanan goes to her home to take care of her children. He then realises that the reason behind his sister’s death could not have been suicide. How he unravels the truth behind it with the help of a doctor Maaya (Raashi Khanna) and villagers form the premise of the film.
