This year, Sudheer Babu made a comeback to the silver screen with his latest release, titled Harom Hara: The Revolt. Upon its release, the film amassed mixed reviews from the critics as well as the audience but proved to be a hit at the box office. As per the latest updates, the film is set to have its OTT debut on this platform.
Dubbed as an action-drama, the Telugu film Harom Hara had its theatrical release on June 14. Those who missed out on the release in cinema halls can now look forward to its digital debut on the Aha streaming platform. The official date of the release is set for July 11.
The official Instagram handle of the Aha digital platform made a post, announcing the release. Written in Telugu, the caption roughly translates to, “A strong man needs a weapon. But for the childless, the weapon is strength! #HaromHara Premieres July 11th only on aha!”
The film was acclaimed for its action sequences but received criticism for its story and writing. It revolves around a man named Subramanyam (played by Sudheer Babu), who moves to Kuppam because of a job. But after resigning from the job, he starts a gun manufacturing unit which leads to an entire new world for him.
Harom Hara: The Revolt was made under the direction of Gnanasagar Dwaraka, who was also its writer. The cast of the film includes Sudheer Babu and Malvika Sharma as the leads. They are supported by Sunil, Jayaprakash and Ravi Kale. The film is being produced by Sumanth G Naidu under the banner of Sree Subrahmanyeshwara Cinemas.
The music in the film is given by Chaitan Bharadwaj while the cinematographer is Arvind Viswanathan and Ravi Teja Girijala is the editor. It was released on June 14. In 2023, Sudheer Babu was featured in films like Maama Mascheendra and Hunt. The former is a Harsha Vardhan directorial while the latter is helmed by Mahesh Surapaneni.
