After the massive success of the film GOAT, Thalapathy Vijay’s last film is expected to release in theatres worldwide in October, next year. It is directed by H Vinoth and is jointly produced by Venkat K Narayana under the banner of KVN Productions. The makers have been releasing the details of the cast members of the film. Apart from Bobby Deol and Pooja Hegde, KVN Productions have officially announced that Malayalam actress Mamitha Baiju will also be joining the ensemble cast of the Thalapthy 69.
Thalapathy Vijay announced his political entry and called his next, tentatively titled Thalapathy 69, his last film as an actor. The official launch happened a few weeks back, followed by the announcement of the cast members of the film. Premalu fame Mamitha Baiju was speculated to join the ensemble cast of Thalapathy 69. The makers have now confirmed her participation by officially announcing it through their official Twitter page. The makers called her Mini Maharani while welcoming her on board. Mamitha Baiju recently made her Tamil debut with Rebel, starring in the emotional college drama opposite GV Prakash Kumar. The actress rose to fame with her role in the Malayalam romantic drama Premalu, the Tamil dub of whose had a historic success at the Tamil Nadu box office. Premalu became the Fourth highest-grossing film in the Malayalam film industry in 2024.
Mamitha Baiju already has three films in Tamil apart from this project. She made her debut in Sarvopari Palakkaran in 2017. She is known for her roles in Operation Java (2021), Super Sharanya (2022) and Pranaya Vilasam (2023).
