Sonakshi Sinha's Regal Look Gets Love From Heeramandi's 'Mallikajaan' Manisha Koirala

Fresh off the success of her recently released web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, Sonakshi Sinha is ruling the internet and how. On Sunday, she turned muse for designer Vikram Phadnis at the Bombay Times Fashion Week Grand Finale. Sonakshi was every bit royalty as she walked through the runway in a black lehenga. Treating fans to a closer glimpse of her look from the event, the Dabangg star has now posted some pictures on her Instagram handle.

The enchanting pictures featuring Sonakshi in the black traditional ensemble are elegance personified. Featuring a full-sleeved blouse, a lehenga skirt and a matching dupatta draped on her head, the outfit is a perfect choice to attend the wedding. The gold floral embroidery all over the blouse and skirt added a touch of regality to the mesmerising look. While the sophisticated blouse boasts a cropped hem, and a fitted silhouette adorned with intricate patterns, the lehenga skirt appears dreamy for its elaborate gold thread and gota embroidery, further enhanced by a floor-grazing hem length. The net dupatta with floral applique work which the actress draped over her head is the soul of her ethereal look.

Sonakshi took the minimal approach to elevate her look as she opted for neutral makeup and a pair of oversized earrings perfectly blending with the embroidery of her ensemble. Sharing the pictures, Sonakshi also applauded her team for bringing the endearing look to life as she mentioned, “Team shoutout coz they are the BEST.”

Sonakshi’s pictures prompted her Heeramandi co-star Manisha Koirala to drop some heart emojis for the actress. Richa Chadha also reacted to the picture and wrote, “fareedaaannnn” with a red heart emoji. Sonakshi’s rumoured boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal also had a sweet reaction to her bae’s pictures as he posted emojis to express his love.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi played Fareedan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi. Her portrayal of a courtesan in the web series has been receiving rave reviews from the audience. Besides her, the series also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Manisha Koirala, Sharmin Segal, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Richa Chadha, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman, Adhyayan Suman and Taha Shah.
