The long-awaited sequel to Salman Khan‘s blockbuster film Bajrangi Bhaijaan is once again making headlines as there is a new update that the script for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 is ready and awaiting the superstar’s approval. Yes, you are reading right. The news has surely left all his fans excited and are eagerly waiting for more exciting updates.
Pinkvilla has mentioned that during a promotional event for Aayush Sharma’s upcoming film Ruslaan, producer K. K. Radhamohan disclosed that the script for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 is ready. Turning to V. Vijayendra Prasad, the acclaimed writer behind the story of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and the father of SS Rajamouli, Radhamohan said the script will soon be narrated to Salman Khan. This news has sparked a wave of excitement among fans.
Salman Khan announced the sequel of his and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan in 2021. Back then, he also revealed that K V Vijayendra Prasad is working on the script of the movie. The film has been reportedly titled Pawan Putra Bhaijaan. Buzz is that, Pooja Hegde has been roped in as the lead female for the film. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, “Salman has roped in Pooja Hegde to replace Kareena Kapoor in ‘Pavan Putra Bhaijaan’. However, it remains to be seen if Pooja will play a new character or step into Bebo’s shoes.” Interestingly, Salman is already romancing Pooja in his upcoming release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and looks like their romance will last beyond one movie.
Besides this, Salman Khan was last seen in ‘Tiger 3’. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 also starrer Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. There was a cameo appearance by Shah Rukh Khan.
It should be noted that all this comes at a time when Salman Khan has also been making headlines for firing outside his Mumbai apartments. On April 14, gunshots were fired outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra area. The Mumbai Crime Branch arrested the two accused from Gujarat’s Bhuj later and brought them to Mumbai. The accused were identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal. Top Mumbai Police sources also told News18 that Lawrence’s gang was behind the attack and it was carried out by Rohit Godara, who operates the Bishnoi gang in Rajasthan.
