Bollywood star Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan tied the knot to her long-time beau and fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare on January 3. The wedding was attended by Aamir Khan, his ex-wives Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta, Ira Khan’s brothers Junaid Khan and Azad, Nupur Shikhare’s mother, Pritam Shikhare, businessman Mukesh Ambani along with Nita Ambani. After the duo got their marriage registered, they are all set to have a grand wedding in Udaipur, Rajasthan, which will be followed by a star-studded reception in Mumbai. Amid this, there are reports that Salman Khan and Saira Banu will also be attending the marriage.
Aamir Khan and his first wife, Reena Dutta’s daughter, Ira Khan got her marriage registered with Nupur Shikhare in Mumbai at Taj Lands End. Later in the day, they also hosted a reception for their close friends and family. Reportedly, they will then leave for Udaipur where a grand wedding has been planned for the couple which will take place on January 8. After their Udaipur wedding, it will be followed by a grand reception in Mumbai on January 13, which will be graced by the who’s who of Bollywood.
The rumour mill is strife with various reports regarding Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s wedding. One report claims that around 900 guests are to attend the big fat Indian wedding. Other reports claim that the Udaipur wedding will only be attended by the Khan and Shikhare families and their close ones. The wedding is rumoured to take place with full traditions and customs on January 8, 2024.
After the destination wedding, the couple will be throwing a grand reception party on January 13, at the Jio World Center, where Bollywood celebrities will be gracing the extravagant event to bless the couple.
Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare have been dating for a long time. Nupur is a celebrity fitness trainer by profession and was also Aamir Khan’s fitness trainer. The couple fell in love and got engaged last year. Preparations for the couple’s wedding were in full swing and video of their pre-wedding festivities which kicked in on January 2 also started surfacing on the internet. Currently, the couple is the talk of the town not just for their wedding, but also after Nupur Shikhare wore a vest and shorts to reach the wedding venue.
