Bigg Boss 18 host Salman Khan is tackling death threats and mourning Baba Siddique's death.

Salman Khan returned to Bigg Boss 18 following his friend, political leader Baba Siddique’s death and a fresh laucnh of death threat. The promos of the Weekend Ka Vaar episode already showed Salman confessing that he wasn’t in the headspace to return to the reality show. Now, a new clip from the episode has surfaced online in which a tired Salman lamented that he has bigger problems to deal with.

The superstar and Bigg Boss 18 was seemingly addressing the fights and problems that the participants were facing when Salman said, “Yaar, kasam khuda ki, what all I am going through in my life and I have to handle this.” Although the actor did not mention the issues, it seems like the statement was leaning towards his worries following the death threats and Siddique’s death.

Salman has been tackling death threats for a while now. His security has been tight since the first death threat was issued by Lawrence Bishnoi. However, after Siddique’s death, a member of Bishnoi’s gang took responsibility for the political leader’s murder and issued a warning to Salman.

On Friday, two new threatening messages were received on the WhatsApp number of Mumbai Traffic Police, in which Rs 5 crore was demanded from actor Salman Khan. The messages warned that if Salman failed to pay, his fate would be worse than that of NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was recently murdered. As per sources, the offence has been registered with Worli Police Station and an investigation has been launched in the matter.

Amid these threats, not only has Salman’s security amped up further — the actor already has a Y+ Security in place — but also the security on the sets of Bigg Boss 18 has also been upgraded. According to India Today, Bigg Boss 18 will continue as planned, with Salman Khan’s team working closely with the production crew to ensure his safety. The channel has arranged for enhanced security measures, including over 60 security personnel on set during the shoot.

Strict protocols have been implemented to secure the area around the shoot location. It is reported that no outsiders are allowed entry into the compound without proper Aadhaar card verification. Additionally, the Bigg Boss 18 crew has been instructed to remain on-site until the shoot wraps up.
