Deadpool and Wolverine trailer is coming our way, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman confirmed. The Marvel Studios film is set to release this July. The film will mark Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s Marvel Cinematic Universe aka MCU debuts. On Sunday, the actors took to their social media accounts and shared a new clip from Deadpool & Wolverine, along with the announcement that the trailer will drop on Monday. They also shared a new poster.
The new clip opened with Reynolds’ Deadpool playing with a morbid toy featuring Wolverine’s death. The video then featured a collage of clips from old X-Men movies, including the blockbuster film Logan. As the clips played out, Reynolds’ Deadpool said in a voice over, “Look, eventually, you’re going to hang up the claws and it’s going to make a lot of people very sad.”
“But one day, your old pal Wade’s gonna ask you to get back in the saddle again, and when he does, say yes. I’ve always wanted to ride with you, Log. Deadpool… and Wolverine!” he added.

Although Deadpool and Wolverine is the third Deadpool film in the franchise, director Shawn Levy confirmed it is not Deadpool 3. Speaking at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, the filmmaker said, “As far as crafting the Deadpool and Wolverine story, I just felt privileged every day because you’re talking about two massive movie stars in their most iconic roles. It also gave me an opportunity. It’s the third Deadpool movie, but it’s not Deadpool 3. It’s a different thing that’s very much Deadpool & Wolverine. And it’s not trying to copycat anything from the first two movies. They were awesome, but this is a two-hander character adventure.”
Deadpool & Wolverine releases on July 26.
