Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 trailer has finally been released and fans are showering love on it. It has been trending since its release. Celebrities including Arjun Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan are also congratulating the team. Rajkummar Rao took to his social handle and shared a new poster along with a thank you note for his fans.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Rajkummar Rao wrote, “Shukriya for all the love we received for India’s most loved gang! Stree 2 Trailer Out Now.” The new poster features the popular Bicky gang. Shraddha Kapoor is seen in her Stree look while the other five are looking scared. As soon as the poster was shared, fans compared it to Stranger Things. One of the fans wrote, “Ye stranger things ke poster jesa kyu lag raha hau.” Another wrote, “Poster like stranger things.”

The trailer starts from where the first part ended. Chanderi is once again haunted, but this time not by Stree. This time the residents of Chanderi, including Rajkummar, Abhishek, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana, are on a mission to fight against a new monster. Pankaj Tripathi introduces the new threat, ‘Sarkata’ (headless monster). To protect them from this terror comes Shraddha Kapoor. The people pray to Stree this time, “O stree raksha karna”, instead of telling her, “O stree kal aana”.
The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in lead roles. Stree was released in 2018. It opened to wide critical acclaim and emerged as a commercial success at the box office. The music of the film also drew a lot of attention, with Milegi Milegi and Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe becoming raging chartbusters. The audience also fondly remembers Kamariya featuring a scintillating Nora Fatehi, who grabbed a lot of eyeballs for her moves on the track.
