Rajkummar Rao is gearing up for his next film which is a biopic titled SRI. The film also stars Jyotika, Alaya F, and Sharad Kelkar and will be released on May 17, 2024. The official handle of T Series shared the news along with the poster of Rajkummar Rao. The news has shared the excitement wave among the audience as they were seen reacting to it.

Taking to their social handle, T Series wrote, “The remarkable journey of Srikanth Bolla #SRI unfolds on 17th May 2024.” The story of the film revolves around the inspiring journey of an industrialist Srikanth Bholla, who did not let his visual impairment come his way, and eventually founded Bollant Industries. Nothing much has been revealed about it. Fans dropped heart emojis in the caption.

In an exclusive chat with News18, Alaya stated that she is elated to work and share screen space with Rajkummar – who plays the titular character in the film – for the first time. Speaking about it, she said, “The shoot is going really well. I shot for only a few days in December and resumed it in January this year. Whatever I’ve shot for so far has been a wonderful experience. The team is lovely. Raj is just incredible.”

Apart from this, Rao will also be seen in Stree 2, Mr and Mrs Mahi, Guns and Gulaabs Season 2 and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video for which tha actor will be seen alongside Triptii Dimri is busy shooting in Rishikesh for the same. This movie will take us back to the Mystical Age of 90’s. It is an illustration of a retro recall and does promise to be an out-and-out family entertainer. The title ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ makes us ponder what the video will be all about.
