Kannada actress Pavithra Gowda was taken to the hospital after she complained of dizziness during the police investigation. Pavithra was taken into police custody in connection to the Darshan’s fan murder case. As per latest reports, Pavithra was being questioned with the others accused in the case when she complained of her ill health. It was later revealed that she had low blood pressure because she had not eaten during the day. The Police also clarified that she was not hospitalised.
According to a Deccan Herald report, the doctor treating Pavithra confirmed that there is nothing to worry about. “She was not hospitalised. She didn’t collapse. She said that she felt dizzy,” S Girish, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), said. The officer added that she was on administered glucose. Pavithra returned for questioning soon after.
“The glucose levels were low as she hadn’t eaten anything since the morning. She also had gastritis due to the non-intake of food. Her blood pressure was also low. She was administered intravenous fluids,” the doctor treating her said.
For the unversed, Pavithra has been taken into custody on charges of murdering Renukaswamy (33), a resident of Chitradurga. Pavithra, Darshan and 13 of his associates have been arrested for the murder of Renuka Swamy.
Renuka Swamy was found dead at Sumanahalli Bridge in Bengaluru on June 8, 2024. He used to reportedly work at an Apollo Pharmacy branch in Chitradurga. Previously, police officials claimed that Renuka used to send vulgar messages to Kannada actress Pavithra Gowad, a friend of Darshan. Angry about this, Renuka Swamy was murdered and his dead body was allegedly thrown in a canal at Kamaksshipalya, Bengaluru in front of Darshan.
According to a report by NDTV, the autopsy report found 15 wounds on his body including marks on the head, abdomen, chest and other parts. As per the report, Swamy’s head rammed a mini truck which was parked in a shed in Bengaluru and has now been seized by the police.
