Tauba Tauba featuring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Punjabi singer Karan Aujla has become a viral sensation. It is the first song released from Vicky and Triptii’s upcoming film Bad Newz, which also features Ammy Virk. The song has garnered immense popularity for its catchy tunes and hook steps. Adding to the buzz, Nora Fatehi recently expressed her excitement upon hearing her name mentioned in the song.
During an interview with BBC Asian Network, Nora shared, “I heard Karan Aujla’s new song and I’m like ‘That is my name! But, is he referring to me or another Nora?’ So, me, him, and Badshah have a group and I asked, ‘Karan, are you referring to me?’ He is like, ‘Yeah, of course, it’s you.’ And I was freaking out and he thought it was so funny. I was sending him all these GIFs of dancers just to show how excited and happy I was. I said ‘Karan, I am officially a part of history and pop culture now, thanks to you now!”
Just a few hours ago, Nora Fatehi shared a video on Instagram where she added her own spice to the song. The video begins with Nora listening to the lyrics, appearing surprised the moment she hears her name mentioned. She then flaunts her sizzling dance moves and recreates the viral hook step of the song. Nora added a text to the video that reads: “POV: When you hear your name in a Karan Aujla song, you know I got to add my spice to it.” The actress looked stunning in a white cropped t-shirt, blue shorts, and white shoes.
Directed by Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz is a comedy film centered on two sophisticated Punjabi men and their unexpected encounter with a Christian Hindu girl. The storyline takes a wild turn when one of the men has a one-night stand with her, leading to unforeseen chaos when she unexpectedly becomes pregnant. The film also features Neha Dhupia, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in significant roles. Bad Newz will be released in theaters on July 19.
Meanwhile, Nora Fatehi is set to appear in director Prem’s upcoming action film KD – The Devil alongside Sanjay Dutt and Shilpa Shetty Kundra. She will be seen in Karan Malhotra’s action film Krrish 4.
