Mom-to-be Deepika Padukone Couldn't Stand at Anant Ambani's Marriage? Wedding Guest Makes Big Claims

A guest attending Anant Ambani’s wedding defended Deepika Padukone amid the rumours of her fake baby bump and added that Deepika was struggling to move at the wedding. An Egyptian social media influencer who goes by the name Raniaa Yehia took to her Facebook and Instagram to share a picture with Deepika. The pregnant actress, who is due this September, smiled for the selfie. Sharing the photo, Raniaa slammed trolls and revealed that Deepika couldn’t walk because she is heavily pregnant.

“Deepika is pregnant woman, she cannot stand and she cannot breathe as she sits. Enough injustice,” Raniaa addressing trolls. In the picture, Deepika was seen decked up in red. She opted for a red churidaar with a heavy dupatta. Deepika opted for her trademark neat hair buns.

Deepika attended the wedding ceremony with her mother and husband Ranveer Singh. While Ranveer made his way to the wedding with the baraatis and brought the house down with his infectious energy, Deepika walked in a little later. She met Rajinikanth at the ceremony and was also seen chatting up with Amitabh Bachchan.

The actress announced her pregnancy in March this year. She shared a post on Instagram annoucing that she and Ranveer are expecting their first baby together. She also added she’s due in September. Despite her pregnancy, Deepika has been working. Deepika shot the crucial climax scene of Kalki 2898 AD when she was pregnant, Kalki 2898 AD Saswata Chatterjee told News18 exclusively. He added that Ranveer was also present on the sets when the scene was being shot.

“There is a scene in the film where I drag her by the hair. It was part of the last leg of the shoot and was shot in Mumbai because Deepika was pregnant by then. Ranveer came on set wearing an ensemble that was orange from top to bottom – tee, pants and shoes! He radiates such an infectious positive energy – he just can’t stand in one place! There was a lot of physical tussle in the scene, so I told Ranveer, ‘Don’t worry, for more physically challenging scenes, there’s a body double.’ He was so polite and humble. He smiled and said, ‘I know, Dada.’”

She was also seen shooting Singham Again this summer.
