Manjummel Boys, now recognised as the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time, is a gripping survival drama based on a true story. It follows a group of youngsters from Manjummel, Kochi, who embark on a trip to the Guna Caves, also known as Devil’s Kitchen, in the hill station of Kodaikanal. What starts as a fun adventure quickly turns into a nightmare when one of their friends slips and falls into a deep chasm, leading the group into a harrowing struggle for survival. The film, produced by Soubin Shahir, Babu Shahir, and Shawn Antony under their banner Parava Films, has captivated audiences with its intense storytelling and realistic depiction of danger.

In addition to director Chidambaram’s masterful writing and direction, Manjummel Boys garnered widespread acclaim for its technical brilliance. Shyju Khalid’s breathtaking cinematography beautifully captured the haunting atmosphere of the Guna Caves, while Ajayan Chalissery’s production design added authenticity to the film’s setting
