Katrina Kaif is one of the most loved actresses in showbiz. She has come a long way in her career with rich content-driven and commercial films. Recently, she opened up about her Hollywood debut.
According to a report in Variety, she was offered a Hollywood film but rejected it due to some circumstances. She further added, “I do believe it will happen, and I think that will be a whole new leaf in my book, so to speak, and really exciting.”
Katrina Kaif embarked on the journey of acting with the film Boom. Speculations suggest that, had it not been for Salman, she probably would have remained stuck in Bollywood with her flop debut. The actor helped Katrina resurrect her career. Her second Bollywood release, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya with Salman, made her a recognised face in the industry. Since then, she has never looked back. Her hard work, dedication, and passion led her to become the highest-paid actress in Bollywood with a net worth of Rs 263 crore.
She has created a niche for herself in the film industry and is also one of the most bankable actresses in Indian cinema. Looking back on her journey, Katrina had earlier revealed she initially wanted to be a model in Mumbai, but acting happened unexpectedly. She shared, “When I started off as a model in Bombay, my intention was to be a model. My role models were Madhu Sapre and Lakshmi Menon. Those were the supermodels of that time. And even Malaika, actually. She was still modelling at that time. They were the women I looked up to. And that’s why I wanted to be a model,” she told Mashable.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Katrina Kaif was earlier seen in Salman Khan’s Tiger 3. She reprised her role as Zoya in the third installment of the franchise. She was last seen in Merry Christmas alongside Vijay Sethupathi. Now, she will be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara with Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt.
