Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri To Reunite For Anurag Basu’s Next, Shoot Starts From September 24: Report

Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri will be seen together for the first time in the horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The film is all set for Diwali release. Well, ahead of its release, news has come in that both actors will be reuniting for Anurag Basu’s next. Pinkvilla has exclusively reported that the film is a romantic drama and shooting will begin on September 24.

Pinkvilla has quoted a source saying, “Kartik Aaryan is a big fan of love stories and he is excited to embark on this journey with Anurag Basu. Some script reading sessions have already taken place over the last few weeks and the actor is now all set to don the hat of a love boy for Anurag Basu.” The source further adds that Triptii is also looking forward to dive into the romantic space with Kartik.

“Bhushan Kumar believes in churning out music that stands the test of time. He is well aware of the importance of music in a love story and is looking to create some evergreen songs for Anurag Basu, Kartik Aaryan, and Triptii Dimri,” the source shares. The film will be shot at several locations across India from September to February and the makers are looking to bring it to the spectacle by the end of 2025.

Earlier, Producer Bhushan Kumar, in an interview with Zoom, spilled the beans about the upcoming film. While there have been rumours that Kartik and Triptti will be working together for Anurag Basu’s Aashiqui 3, Kumar cleared the air around it and revealed that they are ‘not making Aashiqui 3’ right now. Reportedly, the team is working on another film that is expected to go on floors by July. He shared, “It’ll be directed by Anurag Basu.”

Bhushan further added, “The name ‘Aashiqui’ is not there for this film. When we were making Aashiqui 3, it was not working out. So, now we are making another romantic movie, which Anurag dada is directing. Kartik and Triptii are a part of it.”

Coming to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, News18 Showsha has exclusively learnt that the makers have decided to do some last minute additions to the film. A little birdie tells us, “The super success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Stree 2 has set a precedent like nothing else. It clearly shows that there are takers for horror-comedy and that franchise films are working big time. Hence, the makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are leaving no stone unturned to repeat the euphoria that the aforementioned films gave way to.” The makers have started promotions.
