Dakota Johnson On Rumours With Jamie Dornan
While the actors captivated audiences with their steamy chemistry, there was never really anything between them beyond the scenes. However, at the same time, rumours had it that they didn’t like each other during filming. Later, while speaking to Vanity Fair, Dakota shared that Jamie Dornan is a “brother” to her.
“There was never a time when we didn’t get along. I know it’s weird, but he’s like a brother to me. I love him so, so, so much. And we were really there for each other. We had to really trust each other and protect each other,” she said. Johnson also revealed that they had to learn to trust each other to get into the characters and do the intense yet awkward scenes. “We were doing the weirdest things for years, and we needed to be a team,” she continued.
Speaking about their films, the first part, Fifty Shades of Grey, came out in 2015, shooting the actors to fame. Later, they reprised their roles in Fifty Shades Darker (2017) and Fifty Shades Freed (2018). The trilogy grossed over $1 billion at the box office, becoming a massive success.
